raleigh.. here i am

yep, i live in raleigh. it's been crazy so far. i had a week or so to unpack then i had to get a job cause i was broke lol. now i am(yes you can laugh, cause i totally did) a bridal consultant at belk, doing registries and selling china man.... so ironic cause i know nothing about weddings or china, and i'm freaking clumsy, but luckily i haven't broken anything yet knock on wood. so far it has been completely insane because there aren't enough people to work, and so much to do, lots of paper work, ordering stuff, and i hate the telephone, we need a secretary among other things. but it's good money considering it's just a job till i can hopefully get a teaching job.
i had a moment of clarity the other night, about what i think i want to do next year, or in the future in general. i am going to try to get into johnson and wales and learn how to do hotel management, they have an international hotel management degree, and that would allow me to travel in style, and have what seems to be an intersting job. for that degree you are required to do an internship in another country heck yes! i also would have to take a foreign language, which seems like a big deal and hard, but i think i will be glad i did it in the end. so hopefully i will be on that path soon.
also i was very proud of myself last sat i was at home myself most of the day roomies out or working and was tired of just sitting around lonely, so i made myself go out even though i'm not comfortable doing that normally. i went to this cool coffee place downtown raleigh and sat and read, and i actually talked to someone, and got a date out of it lol. very out of character for me, but it felt good to do something out of the ordinary, i need to put myself out there more, not just looking for guys, that wasn't the point at all, but just pushing my boundaries, just by being out alone and talking to people.
so that's my life update for now... yep
